363 Hunger Ministry
    Hunger Ministries at Lord of Life is excited to share with you an opportuity to help those in need. 363 was established in the summer of 2007 to help Allan Law, a retired Minneapolis school teacher who made it his mission to feed 150+ homeless people in our community EVERY day of the year. These people are families, individuals, homeless men and women who are sheltered at Harbor Light Safe Bay as well as people who live totally outdoors.

Mr. Law started by going to local gas stations and convenience stores to collect any food items that were going to be discarded. A former student saw Mr. Law doing this, asked what he was doing and how he could he help. 
 

With that simple question, 363 was established. Why 363? Each year, various organizations put together programs for 2 days: Thanksgiving and Christmas to help feed, clothe and take care of those less fortunate. An honest question, pondered by those who participate is: what happens the other 363 days? 

363 was established with the other days in mind. Their starting goal is to help feed 150 homeless people in Minneapolis as many times a year as possible, with the ultimate goal of feeding these people every day of the year. It is easier than you might think. Six people can prepare the sandwiches in about 30 minutes. The total cost would be no more than $80-$90 total. That will feed 150 people in Minneapolis.
