Local author and Lord of Life member Dave Herbeck wrote the book “An Act of Love” to fulfill a need for a concise, user-friendly book on personal finance for couples who want each other to be prepared in the event of death. As a CPA since 1988, Dave leads BPKZ Financial Services and also holds designations as Chartered Financial Consultant and Personal Financial Specialist. 

“An Act of Love” has three sections. Preparing for Widowhood: encourages clear communication and financial record-keeping. Ready or Not: Activities Needed within Nine Months of Death: tasks that can’t be delegated and must start in the first 30 days. A New Life: discover how to make your resources last for the rest of your life.
