Acts 29 Mission Trip - Tuesday, July 19

What a day we had today. We woke up and had breakfast at 6:30 as usual and were on our way to the job site 30 miles away by shortly after 7:00. The sun was out and the sky was blue, boy are we ready to not be rained on.

We got to the site and set up again to do the railing on the steps for both the front and back. When the house is 15 feet off the ground, the stairs and railing are very long. We also set up to do the countertops - look at photos of the guys ironing the laminate on the ends.

We hope that we will be finishing the railing and starting clean up on Wednesday so that we can have the dedication on Friday.

Sorry it is sooooooooo hot in MN, it is still very nice down here. It has maintained the mid 80's during the day and rains on and off a couple of times each day.

We had a celebration tonight for Luke and Sarah Anderson who went with us a couple years ago for the birth of their first child last Friday and for Oly and Sharon Quast's 36th wedding anniversary today. How romantic is that - separate rooms and bunk beds.

We are continuing to pray for the AWOL trip and your hot weather.

Please continue to pray for us as we serve the people in Port Sulphur.

God Bless,
