We woke this morning to dark clouds and thunder before 6:00 am. We were packed and loaded, ready to leave by 6:30. We had breakfast and were on the road before 7:00. Close to 800 miles later, we arrived at our hotel. We went from 75 degrees to 100 in St. Louis.

We felt right at home during stretches because it rained. We talked to Gary Modlin our motorcyclist a few times. He was dry and making good time. Oly and Sharon are spending a few days siteseeing before they come back.

We all agree that the trip was FANTASTIC. This was the first home we got to see finished by our labors. It was very special to be the volunteers at the dedication of the home.

We are off again in the morning and hope to arrive about 4:00.
