C3 Service Opportunities

C3ers are required to do 10 service hours each year, 7th through 9th grades. There are many ways to get your hours in - here are just a few ideas.

Vacation Bible School and Sky Preschool VBS
Here is an opportunity to get a ton of service hours while having fun in the sun as a helper for VBS! This event will fully take care of all your service hours for the C3 year.

What do I need to know before I sign up as a C3 helper for VBS?

  • Spots fill fast--put down your first two choices of weeks to help
  • You are serving the children at VBS and will be with them. You may not be with your friends but will meet some new friends!
  • You need to commit to the entire time; so be aware of doctor appointments, Summer Stretch, and sports. Choose a week when you don't have any conflicts.
  • You will have a blast!
  • Registration is online only starting May 1.

Relay for Life
Help is needed in the concession stand at the Relay for Life at Osseo Sr. High School on Friday, July 20-Saturday, July 21, 2012. Lord of Life's Snack Shack will be providing yummy food and treats for walkers and spectators. If interested in signing up for a shift, please contact Rhonda Hofer at 763.639.4762. 

Church School
During any worship service, you are encouraged to help out with Church School and have a great time doing so! Worship times are Saturday at 5:30 pm, Sunday at 8:30, 9:45 and 11 am. Help out with preschool or elementary children. To volunteer, please contact the Children, Youth and Family Ministry office at 763.420.5015

Emergency Foodshelf Network
Lord of Life partners with Emergency Foodshelf Network the first Monday of each month from 4-7 pm. Volunteers help sort and pack food to be delivered to area food shelfs. C3ers need to volunteer with an adult. Sign up on the EFN webpage.

Summer Stretch
This summer service program is a great way to build relationships and earn all of your C3 service hours.
