Discovery Camp This camp is full - and registration is closed.  Parent volunteers are encouraged to join the fun during the week! With hands on activities, we will need many helping and caring hands along the way! Descriptions:
Rocket Blast Off: Led by Mad Science of MN. This camp will focus on rockets and the physics of rocket flight. We will build a variety of rockets and participate in daily launches during the week. Due to concepts of flight this camp is offered for children entering grades 3 - 6 in the fall of 2011.

Jr Scientist: Led by Mad Science of MN. Watch a volcano explode, change your voice, make an anatomy apron and mix your own batch of slime. Continue your explorations as you look at light and color, test your measurement skills on the Treasure Trail, start your own mineral collection, and look at decomposers. Due to concepts this camp is offered to children entering grades 1 & 2 in the fall of 2011.

Cooking Camp: Led by Lord of Life Kitchen lady Rhonda Hofer. This camp will go into the basics of cooking and baking. Learn to prepare meals, bake sweet treats, and follow recipes all while serving the Lord! This camp is open to children entering grades 1-6 in the fall of 2011.

Craft Camp: Led by Lord of Life staff and great resource professionals people in our community! During this camp each day will take a different area of focus on textile art. We will make wearable art, mosaic art, sewing/ stitching and weaving! This camp is open to children entering grades 1-6 in the fall of 2011.

Each morning (9 am - 12 noon) will be spent in the camp chosen above. The afternoons will be spent learning about our gifts and talents that God gives us. The morning camps will be led by professionals and adults who are volunteering to lead in their area of interest. The afternoon activities will be led by Lord of Life staff.

Notes: Children will need to bring a bag lunch each day, except Friday.
