What’s your favorite flavor ice cream? Anything covered in hot fudge!
If you could vacation anywhere…where would you go? Silly question if you'd ever met me, but let me think about it...Disney World! My more realistic (and less expensive) choices are the North Shore and the Minnesota State Fair. Apparently I need to get out more!
What’s your biggest challenge? I have always been painfully shy. I really struggle in small-talk situations.
What is your favorite movie? Believe it or not, I laugh so hard I cry every time I watch Tom Hanks eat the sardine-topped pretzel in The Burbs. That and Goonies will always cheer me up.
What did you want to be when you grew up? I've wanted to be a teacher since I was 3 years old. (I actually have a degree in elementary education from Northern Michigan University.) I remember my younger brother hopping at the bathroom door, crying to get in. You see, I had set up my books along the towel rack and was reading stories to my "class."
When did you first come to LOL and why did you stay? I attended my first worship service at Lord of Life at Cedar Lake Elementary School. My family had just moved into the area and were referred to this new start-up church meeting in a school gym. My name appears on Lord of Life's charter!
What are you most excited about at Lord of Life? I am excited about sharing the good news that God not only lives here at Lord of Life, but also in your home, your car, the ball field, at your cabin, in the grocery store, and everywhere!
