Nature Movies
During times when the weather isn't desirable to take the kids outdoors, or if you have a weekly family movie night, consider renting a film that educates your children about this amazing world that God gave them to enjoy and care for. There are many wonderful nature films out there that you can check out for free at the local library or rent from Netflix. As many nature movies graphically show the “circle of life” (animals being eaten by other animals and/or mating), it is recommended that parents preview a movie before sharing it with younger children to make sure you are prepared to discuss these difficult to watch occurrences in nature.
