  Operation Christmas Child

825 boxes!

Yes, we made our goal. Thank you for spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ to 825 children around the world through the gift of your shoe boxes.

If you have not returned your box and need additional drop-off sites or if you need more information in general, check out the Operation Christmas Child website at  www.samaritanspurse.org/occ.

Everyone loves to receive gifts! During the Christmas season we celebrate the arrival of the most special gift of all—God’s Son, Jesus Christ. That “good news of great joy” (Luke 2:10) is the same message that is shared with children around the world through Operation Christmas Child. This year, millions of children will experience Christmas joy when they receive gift-filled shoe boxes and hear the Gospel through Christian literature and follow-up programs.

Since 1993, more than 70 million poor, sick, and suffering children have received Operation Christmas Child shoe box gifts. Some of the countries served were Angola, Chad, Iraq, Lebanon, India, Vietnam, Fiji, Estonia, Poland, Chile, Peru, Jamaica, and Native Americans in the United States.  For more information about Operation Christmas Child, visit their website.

Thank you for supporting this ministry!
Lord of Life has a wonderful history of collecting shoe box gifts and sharing the gift of Jesus Christ with children in need around the world.

May we ask one more gift?...the gift of prayer.  Please pray for all those involved in collecting and delivering  these shoe boxes.  Pray that the Lord of Life families who donated boxes have grown spiritually through their act of generosity.  And most importantly, pray for the children and their families who receive a shoe box gift, that hearts will be opened to the Good News of Jesus Christ.

Drop off your filled boxes at the display at the end of the main hallway by Nov 15.
