Outreach Ends Policies
Matthew 28: 18-20
Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
Background Information
The Great Commission instructs that while we are going about our daily activities, whether it is next door or to another country, we are to make disciples. It is not an option, but a command to all who call Jesus “Lord”. We are not all evangelists in the formal sense but we have all received gifts that we can use to help fulfill the Great Commission. As we obey, we have comfort in the knowledge that Jesus is always with us.
Ends Policy
- Lord of Life exists to bring others to Christ by spreading the teachings of Jesus Christ as individuals, small groups and as a faith community.
- Lord of Life exists to bring others to Christ by using our faith to go forth sharing the Gospel of Christ at the local, national and international levels.
- Lord of Life exists to bring others to Christ by living a culture of discipleship by serving and empowering others to serve.
