Praying for Our Tanzanian Partner Church Members

Are you aware that Christians across the world are praying for you? Lord of Life is privileged to be in partnership with Ifuwa Parish in the Iringa Diocese in Tanzania, Africa. Participating partner congregations agree to engage in regular communication. You don't have to be a sponsor to write to our students. Mail can be sent to:

Thirty-six Lord of Life members did an awesome job in fullfilling the agreement to provide scholarships for secondary and post-secondary education. The students are an investment in individuals, families, and the larger economic community. Helping a young person uncover their gifts, skills and potential builds a brighter future.

The last part to our partnership agreement is to pray for one another on a regular basis. At a previous Adult Ministries Retreat, we were given the following seven steps of "How to Pray for Other Christians" taken from the New International Version, Life Application Study Bible.

1. Be thankful for their faith and changed lives

2. Ask God to help them know what he wants them to do

3. Ask God to give them deep spiritual understanding

4. Ask God to help them live for him

5. Ask God to give them more knowledge of himself

6. Ask God to give them strength and endurance

7. Ask God to fill them with joy, strength, and thankfulness
