staff home
What’s your favorite flavor ice cream? Vanilla with a little caramel on top. What can I say.....I'm Swedish
If you could vacation anywhere…where would you go? Back to Lake Louise in Canada
What’s your biggest challenge? Taking time for myself
What is your favorite movie? The Never Ending Story
What is one of your greatest ambitions? Trying to spend as much time as possible with my grandchildren, ages 12 1/2 and 2 1/2
What did you want to be when you grew up? A librarian
What is something people don’t know about you? I love to dance
What’s one of your proudest moments? When my mother and I sang together for a worship service at the church where I grew up in North Minneapolis
What was your first job? After graduation, I worked at the church where I grew up in North Minneapolis. I started at LOL in the fall of 1978 (where have all those years gone?)
When did you first come to LOL and why did you stay? We had been looking for a church closer to home where our kids could get involved at a young age (at the time they were 5 & 8). They are now adults with families of their own. Our family joined as charter members in December 1978 and have remained because LOL ministers to us on a daily basis
What inspires you? Hiking or biking in the fall and seeing/smelling the beauty of God's creation all around me
What are you most excited about at Lord of Life? That we have become a multi-generation congregation and are providing opportunities for involvement for all ages
