Lord of Life is hiring Summer Stretch Staff for 2012.

Position: Summer Stretch Staff
Status: Part-time; 6 Wednesdays or Thursdays from approx. 8 am – 5:30 pm plus a few evenings for training
Reports to: Gerad Remus
Available to Work: Wednesdays or Thursdays, June 2012 - Aug 2, 2012

Job Duties and Responsibilities
·Help coordinate and lead programming for Summer Stretch
·Responsible for 2 or so small groups at service sites
·Lead Bible studies, devotions
·Lead sr. high volunteers
·Build relationships with youth

Competencies Required:
·Strong personal faith in Jesus Christ and a commitment to the Lutheran Confessions
·Willingness to help fulfill the Children, Youth and Family mission of helping children and their families to seek, live and share an active faith in Jesus Christ.
·Ability and confidence to be a leader for groups of jr. high youth
·Team player
·Good verbal communication skills
·Self-motivated
·Dependable
·Must have completed at least one year of college or the equivalent
