Volunteer Central

The ministries at Lord of Life happen because of YOU! When you use your gifts and passions to serve others, it honors God and helps our church grow and flourish. From welcoming guests to teaching children and youth, to serving on mission trips and much more, there’s a place for YOU to serve. When you serve, you'll be amazed at how God can use you in new and unexpected ways.

Hope Center    The number one question we get about the Hope Center is "when will it be open?"  In order for the Hope Center to be open, we will need volunteers to be hosts.  We are looking for individuals or families willing to be on-site for a 2-3 hour commitment two to four times a month.  At those times, volunteers will check in anyone that is using the facility, answer questions, make sure guidelines are being followed, and most importantly build relationships with the individuals and families.   Training will be provided and there will be multiple host(s) on at one time.  This would be a great opportunity for a family to serve together.   Questions contact Jill at 612-269-1991 or check out Mobile Hope website.  www.mobilehopemn.org

Make "Grab and Go" bags for patients to take with them to treatment. The Grab and Go bags can include the following: bottle of water, packet of crystal light or G2 or something similar, fruit cup, granola bar or some other type of packaged snack (cookies, crackers), napkin and disposable spoon. You may also include a note with a word of encouragement or Bible verse. Anything you want to put in would be gratefully accepted. Completed bags can be dropped off at church.
